Learning
The foundation of a lifetime!

Infants

I provide a nurturing environment that is safe and secure, where your child can learn, play and grow. I like to introduce daily activities that will prepare your infant for life. Babies need building of self-esteem through nurturing personal care and lots of love.

At this age it is important for them to have interaction with other kids to spark curiosity and socialization. I also focus on cognitive and motor skills through playtime and activities and use age-appropriate materials and toys.

I am committed to making this first transition away from home easy and natural for you and your child.

Toddlers

It is an amazing time when your baby starts to walk, talk, and begins to develop relationships with others. Toddlers have so many things they want to see and do, and I am here to guide your child every step of the way.

I focus on their sensory experiences that enhance their cognitive, language, motor and social skills, helping them develop a love of learning. Children at this stage start to develop friendships and gain confidence as they use their words and thoughts to interact with others.

Preschoolers

Children at this age are curious about the world around them. They are busy exploring their environment and learning to communicate their thoughts. While they begin to show their independence, they are also gaining a better understanding of group play.

I like to keep preschoolers minds engaged through activities designed specifically for this age group, like: games, songs, science, reading, word games, movement and art. Also, child-directed play ensures that your child develops at his or her own pace. Sharing, cooperating and taking turns teaches your child the importance of being a team player.

My main goal is that they leave my program more than ready for kindergarten and that’s why my curriculum focus on the main learning blocks which are: language and communication, social and emotional development, cognitive development, math skills, creative arts and physical development.

Cleanliness

Having your child in a small class environment will already benefit them in terms or carrying or spreading germs, nonetheless the cleanliness of their setting is very important to me.

The tiled areas in my house are cleaned on a daily basis and the carpeted areas are vacuumed every day as well. All of the toys are sanitized daily, along with their sleeping mats and bathrooms used by the children. The diaper changing area and high chairs are sanitized after each use.

Hand washing is very important to stop the spread of germs and we do that here throughout the day as needed. The utensils are color coded for each child and their mats are personally labeled.
